ConsumerVoted.org was created because there have always been limited resources for consumers who are trying to find the best company to meet their needs.

We wanted to create a resource which puts the power in the hands of the consumer. After all, it's your hard earned money that makes the business world tick, so why should you have to guess which companies are worth hiring.

We've all had a bad experience with a company, and it can be incredibly frustrating. There are so many companies out there that simply don't do what they promise, but on the other hand, there are many outstanding companies that have an excellent track record. The problem is trying to distinguish between the good and the bad, especially when all the ads look similar. We knew that if we could find businesses that weren't afraid to be held accountable by their own customers, we could put together an outstanding network of the highest quality companies.

For example, you can go to a typical yellow pages book, but the ads tend to look very similar, and it is nearly impossible to figure out which companies are reputable and customer satisfaction oriented and which ones are just out to make a quick dollar. If you could read what each company's previous customers had to say about their experience with them you could make an informed decision. Obviously, this is not possible with a printed book.

We have a solution. Our website is basically a directory listing service, like a typical yellow pages book, but with some major upgrades.

1. If a company wants to be listed on our website they must agree to give all their customers an access code which is used to post feedback at ConsumerVoted.org. The company, knowing that you are going to post feedback about them, will strive to make sure you are completely satisfied so you will give them a high rating. Therefore, in general, you can expect a higher level of service from a ConsumerVoted.org company.

2. Since consumers are continuously posting their feedback there will be a wealth of data on all types of companies available to you. When you have access to such a powerful resource, it doesn't make sense to use a typical yellow pages book anymore. ConsumerVoted.org provides the same company listings, but you also get to see what their overall satisfaction rating is and read what their current customers have to say.

3. The companies have no control over what their customers are posting on the website. Also, in order to encourage honest and direct feedback you are kept completely anonymous. Only your first name and city are posted on the website. Any identifiable information we collect is secured internally and will not be distributed without your permission.

4. Our goal is to be the only resource you'll ever need. If you don't find a company that meets your needs, please check back later as our staff will be adding new categories and new companies on a daily basis.

5. When you post a review you will be asked some questions that help the company tailor their services and products to better meet your needs. This is not a long survey because we understand that your time is valuable. It's just a few quick questions.
